This class is designed for young people and the elderly who have never had the opportunity to attend school or have had to drop out. By the end of the course, students will have achieved a primary school level of education, developing skills in listening, speaking, reading Vietnamese, communicating in the national language, and performing basic calculations. These skills will help them improve their work productivity, boost their quality of life, and contribute to poverty reduction in the area.

Since 2017, Military Zone 4 has collaborated with the Education and Training Departments of Que Phong and Ky Son districts to organize 21 literacy classes and disseminate scientific and technical knowledge to 497 people. In Tri Le commune alone, four post-literacy classes have been opened for 165 residents of Nong 1, Hua Na, Na Nieng, D1, D2, Na Chang, and Kem Don villages.

Tri Le is a mountainous border commune of Que Phong district, bordering Laos in the west. It has a border length of 18.35 km. The natural area is 20,290 hectares, with 450.8 hectares of paddy fields. The commune consists of 16 villages, inhabited by four ethnic groups: Thai, Kinh, Mong, and Kho Mu. The total population is 10,992, with 2,146 households, of which 1,468 are considered poor, accounting for 68.41% (as of November 2023).

In recent years, the people of Tri Le commune have received significant attention and support from the Party and State with preferential policies for highland border communes.

As a result, the material and spiritual lives of the people have been improved, and there has been a positive shift in the labor structure. Outdated customs such as superstition, arranged marriages, consanguineous marriages, and suicide by poison have been gradually eliminated. Healthcare is guaranteed for 100 percent of the population with health insurance coverage. Social order and safety are ensured, and national defense and security remain strong.
