Naval Region 5 Promotes Reading Culture, Fosters Patriotism

From April 15 to May 2 in Phu Quoc City (Kien Giang Province), the Navy Region 5 Library is organizing a book exhibition. The event is part of activities marking the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day and celebrates major national holidays as well as the anniversaries of the Vietnam People's Navy.

The exhibition features thousands of books, newspapers, and magazines, offering a wide range of content that reflects the nation’s revolutionary history, the proud traditions of the Vietnam People’s Navy, and specialized topics on seas and islands.

Many notable publications on President Ho Chi Minh, the historic Spring Victory of 1975, and the 70-year journey of building, fighting, and developing of the Navy have drawn strong interest from officers, soldiers, veterans, young union members, and local students.

With three well-organized exhibition areas, the event not only provides easy access to a wealth of knowledge, but also creates a space for intergenerational exchange and dialogue.
