The four speakers, who are Vietnamese doctors in the US, shared their experiences in diagnosing, emergency and treating Covid-19 patients in the US, and presented the project of establishing "A group of doctors to support consultations from far for Dong Nai and Tien Giang".

The remote consulting support group currently has 40 members who are doctors, pharmacists, nurses with degrees, practicing in the US and volunteers. The team is ready to provide free consultation and support for Vietnam, and wishes to use the US TeleHealth system to connect with patients in Vietnam via the Internet, ensuring patient privacy.

The consulting capacity of the group is 200-300 patients/4 hours/day. To implement the program, the group needs support from the local community in introducing patients, transferring drugs and free SpO2 meters according to the standards of the Ministry of Health and the local Department of Health to patients.

Choosing to focus on supporting Dong Nai and Tien Giang is considered practical, timely and meaningful when the two provinces are in the group of 5 provinces with the highest number of new infections per day in the country. The treatment F0 at home is only applied in Tien Giang, not yet applied in Dong Nai.
