Consul General of Vietnam in Khon Kaen Chu Duc Dung called on overseas Vietnamese to follow Uncle Ho's teachings - “The Hung Kings founded this nation. We must defend it together.”

Udon Thani is a large province of Northeast Thailand, located in the center of the Mekong Sub-region, with natural resources, historical sites, famous landscapes and rich cultural traditions.

With an area of over 17,000 square kilometers, a population of nearly 1.6 million people and an international airport, Udon Thani is a potential market for investment, trade and tourism. This is also the province with the largest number of Vietnamese people in Thailand, with a population of about 15,000.

Currently, the overseas Vietnamese integrates well with the host country, contributes significantly to the socio-economic development of the locality, appreciated by the government. Many people of Vietnamese origin are successful, have high status and prestige in Thailand.

Paying tribute to the Hung Kings shows the gratitude of overseas Vietnamese in Thailand to the ancestors of the nation. That affirms the respect and preservation of national cultural traditions, contributing to building an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity.
