Women who know how to build social media channels to promote their hometown’s culture; women who have become small-scale traders with stable incomes of tens of millions of Vietnamese dong; women who participate in community activities; and women who preserve their ethnic culture - these are the women of Ta Lao (Quang Tri). They are taking part in a black sticky rice cultivation model under the Resilience First project, taking charge of their own lives and changing their destinies amid the lush forests and rugged mountains.

Making the most of local agricultural by-products, using biogas wastewater to fertilize crops, and reducing the need to collect firewood from the forest are among the practical benefits of the “Circular care for indigenous black sows” project in Ta Rut commune, Quang Tri province. The project not only provides livelihoods and improves incomes for ethnic minority communities but also opens up a pathway toward sustainable and climate-resilient agriculture in the highlands.

Plan International Vietnam has sent an emergency support package worth VND 350 million to students of Phuc Than Primary School and Phuc Than Kindergarten in Muong Than commune, Lai Chau province, following the severe damage caused by flash floods.

The exhibition "Children and Youth Taking Action on Climate Change" was organized by the Central Council of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization in collaboration with Plan International Vietnam.
