Quang Nam Provides Medical Treatment to People in Sekong Province, Laos
The Quang Nam Union of Friendship Organizations recently collaborated with the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association of Quang Nam Province and other related units to organize medical treatment and gift-giving for the people of Sekong Province, Laos, in 2024, with a sponsorship fund exceeding VND 800 million.

| From July 23 to July 27, the Quang Nam Union of Friendship Organizations sent a delegation consisting of 29 people to provide general medical treatment, free eye surgery, and gifts to the officials and people of Sekong Province, Laos. |

| In Tha Teng District, Sekong Province, Laos, 200 cases of cataracts and pterygium were operated on for free. |

| It is expected that the delegation will provide medical examinations and treatment to 1,500 officials and people of Sekong Province, focusing on general health checks, digestion, cardiovascular, endocrinology, and musculoskeletal issues. |

| Thanks to the assistance of the doctors, 60 officials and residents of Sekong Province received free eye surgeries and were monitored for post-operative treatment and health care. |
