According to information from the Vietnam Red Cross Society, on January 31 in Hoang Van Commune (Bac Ninh Province), the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, in collaboration with the Coca-Cola Foundation, the Bac Ninh Provincial Red Cross Society, and local authorities, organized the “Tet for flood-affected communities” Spring Binh Ngo 2026 Market, in conjunction with the traditional Van Chung Cake Festival.

The program was part of the project “Relief, Recovery, and Reconstruction for Households Affected by Storms No. 10 and 11 in 2025,” sponsored by the Coca-Cola Foundation. The event attracted more than 2,000 delegates and local residents, featuring Tet stalls offering essential goods. Each resident received one shopping voucher worth VND 1,000,000, enabling them to proactively choose items according to their needs, reflecting a humane approach that respects beneficiaries.
The Organizing Committee presented 800 Tet gift packages, with a total value of VND 800 million, to poor households, disadvantaged families, and those affected by natural disasters in Hoang Van, Hop Thinh, and Xuan Cam communes, contributing to a joyful and warm Tet for local people.
In addition to gift distribution, the program also featured a range of distinctive cultural activities, including chung cake wrapping competitions, cultural and artistic exchanges, folk games, and the gifting of calligraphy.
Earlier, on January 29 in Khanh Hoa Province, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, in coordination with the Provincial People’s Committee, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and the Provincial Red Cross Society, organized the Central-level “Tet for flood-affected communities” Spring Binh Ngo 2026 Program.

During the program, 1,000 Tet gift packages were distributed, each valued at VND 1 million (including a shopping voucher worth VND 400,000 and VND 600,000 in cash), with a total budget of VND 1 billion supported by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society. In addition, partner units and benefactors organized various humanitarian and social welfare activities, such as eye health check-ups and consultations, free stalls, and community activities to celebrate the Lunar New Year, with a total value of nearly VND 500 million.
In Son La Province, on January 25, the Son La Provincial Red Cross Society, in coordination with the People’s Committee of Song Ma Commune, organized the program “Loving spring - Compassionate Tet for flood-affected communities,” aiming to support poor households, near-poor households, families in particularly difficult circumstances, and those affected by natural disasters in Song Ma Commune.
The Organizing Committee distributed 663 gift packages, with a total value of nearly VND 500 million. Of these, the Son La Provincial Red Cross Society presented 150 gift packages, each valued at VND 650,000, including cash and essential necessities, with funding support from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society.
