Touching Moments at the Story-telling Keepsake Contest Award Ceremony
The awarding ceremony of the Storytelling Keepsake Contest, hosted by Vietnam Times Magazine and the Embassy of the Lao People's Democratic Republic in Vietnam on December 13 in Hanoi, honored the Vietnam-Laos friendship and solidarity through priceless memorabilia from people of the two countries.

Since launching on May 9 to the final submission date on Sep 15, 2022, the Organizing Committee had received 6,215 entries, including the participation of 48 groups, dozens of localities and thousands of individuals in Vietnam and Laos.
The Organizing Committee, Vietnam Times Magazine (an agency of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations) in cooperation with the Embassy of the Lao People's Democratic Republic in Vietnam, the Vietnam - Laos Friendship Association. - Laos and the Laos - Vietnam Friendship Association aimed to make the "Storytelling Memorabilia" contest a platform to revisit a shared history, recalling the heroic days the Vietnamese - Laotian brothers in wartime and peaceful time.
The stories of the priceless memorabilia sent by the contestants have brought emotional and prideful feeling. They are also think and act together towards the future development of Vietnam - Laos relations.
On December 13, the Organizing Committe awarded 02 First prizes, 04 Second prizes, 07 Third prizes, 10 Consolation prizes and 05 Impression prizes.
More than a contest, "Storytelling Keepsake" contributes to fostering and nurturing the friendship between the two peoples of Vietnam and Laos. Here are some touching, memorable moments of smiles, joy and celebrationce captured at the award ceremony.

The Storytelling Keepsake Contest also hosted a talk for the awardees and the loved ones to tell stories about the memorabilia in front of many people, to celebrate the special relationship between people of the two countries. There are many emotional moments, namely the reunion of people from Vietnam and Laos who have waited a long time to meet.
