Tzu Chi Brings Joy to 250 Poor Households in Tra Vinh with Tet Gifts

The program awarded 250 gifts, of which 103 households were from Ngai Xuyen commune, 67 were from Tan Son, and 80 were from Ham Giang. Each gift was worth 1 million VND, including 500,000 VND in cash, 20 kg of rice, and other necessities. The total value of the gifts was 250 million VND, sponsored by the Tzu Chi organization.
According to the representative of the Tzu Chi organization, from 2015 to the present, this organization has carried out many volunteer support activities in Tra Vinh province, such as giving Tet gifts, supporting medical equipment and supplies, sponsoring poor households, and subsidizing tuition fees for students. Tzu Chi's total aid to Tra Vinh province has reached nearly 10.7 billion VND.
The charity programs implemented by Tzu Chi in the province have brought about many practical results, contributing to actively supporting the improvement of living conditions for local people. In the coming time, Tzu Chi will continue to support people in difficult circumstances in remote areas of the province.
