| On June 6, 2024, the Vietnamese Embassy in Mongolia and the Vietnamese Businessmen Association in Mongolia organized a fundraising ceremony to support the "Lighting up the border" program in Cao Bang province. |
At the ceremony, Nguyen Huy Tuan, Member of the Executive Committee of the Association of Vietnamese Businessmen Abroad and Chairman of the Association of Vietnamese Businessmen in Mongolia, said that the members always actively participate in practical volunteer activities together with the work to promote commercial and service activities among members, as a bridge to promote Vietnam - Mongolia economic, trade and investment exchanges.
In particular, in April 2024, with the spirit of "good leaves cover torn leaves, less torn leaves cover more torn leaves" and to express solidarity with the Mongolian people, the Vietnamese community donated and handed over to the National Emergency Management Agency of Mongolia (NEMA) a donation of 15,500,000 MNT (equivalent to about US $4,570). The donation is to support Mongolia in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters caused by freezing weather and prolonged drought.
Tuan shared that G.Ariunbuyan, NEMA Director General, on behalf of the Mongolian Government, thanked and appreciated "The contribution of the Vietnamese community in Mongolia is a source of spiritual encouragement that greatly helped the Mongolian people overcome difficult times.
“Although the Vietnamese business community in Mongolia is newly established, the hearts of those who are doing business and living far away from the Fatherland are always towards their homeland and country. We always want to contribute a small part to building the solid and resilient borders of the Fatherland," Nguyen Huy Tuan emphasized.
