On March 11, 2026, Vietnamese Ambassador to Bulgaria Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet paid a working visit to Kazanlak and held talks with Mayor Galina Stoyanova to promote local-level cooperation between the city of Kazanlak and Lai Chau province, while also discussing plans to promote Vietnam’s image at the 2026 Rose Festival.

On January 25 in Hanoi, the “Vietnam-RoK Cultural Exchange 2026” program was held to celebrate the successful conclusion of the 14th National Party Congress, the 10th National Buddhist Congress, and the 34th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK).

The establishment of annual international cultural exchange events bearing a distinctive local identity is considered one of the key orientations to elevate cultural diplomacy and promote the image of the people and land of Can Tho amid the current period of deep international integration.

Amid the vibrant atmosphere welcoming the New Year 2026, on January 1, the Vietnamese community in Malaysia organized the Vietnamese Lunar New Year Food Fair 2026 at The Mines Resort in Selangor State. Spanning three days, the event not only showcased the essence of traditional Vietnamese cuisine but also served as a cultural meeting point, fostering community bonds and promoting the image of Vietnam to international friends.
