With a 160-year history, Rosenbauer is present in over 100 countries and is a reputable partner of many professional firefighting forces worldwide. It began cooperating with Vietnam in 1988 through programs providing specialized equipment, technology transfer, and capacity building support for firefighting and rescue forces. These cooperation programs have contributed to Vietnam's gradual modernization of equipment, enhancing its capacity to respond to fires, natural disasters, and emergencies, and have become a highlight in Vietnam-Austria cooperation in the field of public safety and responding to non-traditional challenges.

One of the highlights of the meeting is the discussion about future cooperation directions to contribute to improving fire prevention, firefighting, rescue, and disaster response capabilities in Vietnam. The Austrian side expressed their desire to further expand existing cooperation programs and to promote research and implementation of subsequent ODA projects in the field of fire prevention, firefighting, and rescue, thereby meeting the increasingly high demands for community safety and emergency response.
