With his new role on the Executive Committee of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations for the 7th term (2026–2031), Dr. Do Xuan Hoang, President of the Association of Vietnamese People’s Organizations in the Russian Federation, said the greatest advantage of the overseas Vietnamese lies in its deep understanding of both countries. This is the “key” to mobilizing the resources of businesspeople and intellectuals for concrete cooperation programmes in culture, the economy and technology, thereby creating new momentum for Viet Nam-Russia people-to-people diplomacy.

On September 20, more than 100 Vietnamese children and their families in Sakai City, Osaka, Japan, took part in a Mid-Autumn Festival celebration. Activities featuring traditional Vietnamese cultural elements helped the younger generation maintain their Vietnamese language skills, learn more about traditional culture, and strengthen their connection with their homeland and roots.

The seminar titled "Vietnamese Youth in Japan – Resolution 23-NQ/TW, Promoting the Role of the Young Generation", co-organized by the Consulate General of Viet Nam in Osaka (Japan) and Viet Nam-Japan Cultural and Educational Cooperation Promotion Center (VJCE) was recently held in Japan.

For the 2026-2027 school year, Lac Long Quan Vietnamese Language School in Poland plans to organize 14 in-person classes at three locations and maintain two online classes, enabling Vietnamese children living in different areas to continue learning and using the Vietnamese language.
