Vietnamese Football Teams Compete in Japan's FAVIJA Champions Cup 2024

Over two days, January 31 and February 1, at Tenjin-Kihinkan Central Park in the city of Fukuoka, the Consulate General of Viet Nam in Fukuoka, in coordination with the Vietnam Association in Fukuoka and the Vietnam Business Association in Kyushu, organized the Homeland Spring 2026 - Vietnamese Lunar New Year in Fukuoka, the seventh edition of the event.

Amid the nationwide celebrations welcoming the Year of the Horse (Binh Ngo) Spring 2026 and marking the successful conclusion of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Vietnamese communities in many countries, including Malaysia, Laos, China, and New Zealand, have organized Homeland Spring and Vietnamese Tet programs featuring a wide range of culturally rich activities. These events have contributed to strengthening bonds within overseas Vietnamese communities, spreading sentiments toward the Homeland, and enhancing people-to-people exchanges.

From February 5-6, an estimated 1,000 overseas Vietnamese delegates are expected to take part in a meaningful series of connectivity programs on the occasion of Tet and the arrival of Spring in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC).

As the entire country looks toward the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Vietnamese community in Thailand has expressed deep interest and strong confidence in the nation’s strategic orientations, while reaffirming its desire to continue making active contributions to national construction and development in the new period.
