The Vietnamese Consulate General in Nanning (China) organized meetings and working sessions with numerous news agencies, newspapers, research institutes, and experts and scholars in Guangxi. At these events, Consul General Nguyen Thi Huong provided information on the particularly important significance of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, its major policies, orientations, key tasks, and strategic breakthroughs, as well as the outstanding results in implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Congress for the period 2021-2025. The Vietnamese diplomat affirmed Vietnam's consistent policy of valuing and prioritizing the development of relations with China, emphasizing the important role of cooperation between Guangxi and Vietnamese ministries, sectors, and localities in the overall bilateral relationship.

In Laos, on January 14th, the Vietnamese Consulate General in Pakse held a press conference to inform the public about the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Leaders from Champasak province, relevant agencies, friendship organizations, and the press from Southern Laos attended the event. Consul General Ta Phuong Dung introduced the significance, content, and preparation, as well as the major orientations, key tasks, strategic breakthroughs, and outstanding achievements of the National Congress in streamlining the state apparatus for greater efficiency and effectiveness. Leaders from Champasak province and Lao delegates highly appreciated the leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam and expressed confidence that the 14th National Congress would continue to open new avenues of development for Vietnam and contribute to strengthening the special Vietnam-Laos relationship.
On the other hand, the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia organized a photo exhibition and seminar titled "The Communist Party of Vietnam in the New Development Era" on January 8th, attracting a large number of researchers, scholars, officials, and local journalists. At the seminar, Vietnamese Ambassador to Cambodia Nguyen Minh Vu affirmed that the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam is a significant milestone, shaping the vision, strategic thinking, and development orientation of the country until the middle of the 21st century. Cambodian scholars highly appreciated the leadership capacity, adaptability, and self-renewal of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and expressed confidence that the relationship between the two Parties and the two countries, Vietnam and Cambodia, will continue to be strengthened and developed more substantively after the 14th National Congress.

In the United States, on January 14th, Ambassador Do Hung Viet, Head of the Permanent Mission of Vietnam to the United Nations, chaired a meeting in New York to inform more than 20 major international news agencies about the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Do Hung Viet openly discussed the preparations for the Congress, major orientations for economic development and foreign policy, while emphasizing Vietnam's consistent support for multilateralism and the central role of the United Nations. Prior to this, on January 13th, he also met with leaders of the Communist Party of the United States (CPUSA), providing information about the 14th National Congress and affirming the desire to further strengthen friendly relations and cooperation between the two parties.
Vietnamese Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany Nguyen Dac Thanh held working meetings with leaders of the German Communist Party and the German Left Party. The meetings focused on the introduction of the 14th National Congress, the core contents of the draft documents, and especially the new points in foreign policy. Leaders of the German political parties expressed deep interest, highly appreciated Vietnam's development achievements, and believed that the 14th National Congress would further strengthen Vietnam's role and position in the region and internationally.
Trinh Thi Tam, Ambassador of Vietnam to Sri Lanka, recently met with representatives of the media agency of the Sri Lanka People's Liberation Front (JVP), and informed them about the significance of the 14th National Congress. She expressed confidence that the media coverage would contribute to strengthening understanding, exchange, and friendly relations between the two countries.
Promoting the message about Vietnam's foreign policy and development vision
On December 17, 2025, and January 12, 2026, the Vietnamese Embassy in Nigeria held international press conferences attended by numerous journalists, scholars, and local experts. These conferences provided information on the history and leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam, its socio-economic development achievements, and the goals and vision of the 14th National Congress. Many Nigerian experts highly appreciated the Party's leadership and expressed confidence that the decisions of the 14th National Congress would create new momentum for Vietnam's development and promote bilateral cooperation.
To provide in-depth information about the 14th National Congress, the Vietnamese Embassy in Venezuela, in coordination with the Venezuelan Ministry of Information and Communications, organized a press conference on January 8th, 2026. At the conference, Vietnamese Ambassador to Venezuela Vu Trung My emphasized the pivotal significance of the Congress, the development orientations until 2030 and the vision for 2045, as well as Vietnam's independent, self-reliant, peaceful, cooperative, and developmental foreign policy. Venezuelan media expressed deep interest, highly appreciating the democratic and open-minded approach in the preparation process for the 14th National Congress, and expressed confidence that Vietnam will continue to move forward steadily in this new phase of development.
Utilizing a diverse array of initiatives, Vietnamese representative agencies abroad promoted the significance, content, and scope of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam to the press, researchers, political parties, and international friends. The message of a stable, dynamically developing Vietnam, actively integrating into the international community, and being a reliable partner and responsible member of the international community is widely spread. These activities also create a favorable foundation for further strengthening friendly relations and cooperation between Vietnam and other countries, organizations, and international partners in the future, contributing to the effective implementation of the goals and directions set forth by the 14th National Congress.
