The event was co-organised by the Vietnamese Students’ Association in the RoK (VSAK) and Hanshin Co., Ltd, with the sponsor of the Vietnamese Embassy in the country.
Vietnamese Ambassador to the RoK Nguyen Vu Tu said 17,000 Vietnamese students are studying in the host country, up about 6,000 as compared with 2018.
VSAK President Tran Thien Quang said the annual festival aims to create a useful playground for Vietnamese students in the RoK and promote the image of Vietnamese students in the eyes of international friends, contributing to promoting traditional relationship, cooperation and friendship between the two countries.
The festival included cultural and artistic activities, folk games and a ceremony to honour students who have made outstanding academic achievements and contributions to social activities.
