Vietnamese traditional music performance impresses international friends in Ukraine

(VNF) – The Vietnamese Day in Ukraine, one of the events to celebrate the Vietnamese Culture Year 2018 has successfully concluded after four vibrant days taking place in the city of Lviv on June 20 to 23.

The programme is jointly held by the Vietnamese Embassy in Ukraine, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ukraine-Vietnam Friendship Association, the authorities of Lviv city, the Center of Culture-History of West Ukraine.

The event brought together leaders of Lviv province, delegates of Vietnamese representative diplomat bodies and the Consular in Kyiv and Liviv and Vietnamese community in Ukraine, together with those in neighbor countries such as Germany, Poland, Hungary, etc.

The Vietnamese Day in Ukraine impressed local people and tourists with various fascinating activities such as food fair, conference on tourism cooperation, photo exhibition displaying the beauty of Vietnam.

The most impressive feature of the event was the performance of Vietnamese traditional musical instrument dedicated to the audience by professional Vietnamese artists and Vietnamese people living in the three cities of Kiev, Odessa and Kharkov.

“This is the occasion to introduce to Ukraine friends in the West part of the country and tourists in Lviv about Vietnam, the land and its people and promote the traditional ties of the two countries. The event also contributes greatly to enhancing the mutual understandings among two sides' people and enterprises. At the same time, it helps strengthen the ties between two countries’ ministries, sectors and localities and open a new chapter in Vietnam - Ukraine partnership.”/.
