Ceremony Held to Introduce First Armenian Book Translated to Vietnamese

The People’s Committee of Can Tho City has issued a decision approving the non-project document for a humanitarian program providing medical and dental check-ups and treatments, scholarships, gifts, and wheelchairs for students and people with disabilities. The program is funded by Project Vietnam Foundation (PVF), a US-based organization.

On April 30, 2025, in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, the public was stunned to witness for the first time precious photos of President Ho Chi Minh's visit to the country in 1959. After more than half a century, these photos stand not only as historical marks but also as a bridge connecting the past with the present, of which the initiator and persistent builder is Alisher Rustamovich Mukhamedov, Chairman of the Uzbekistan-Vietnam Friendship Association, a special friend of Vietnam.

Carrying the wish of his father, US Navy Lieutenant Commander Walter Eugene Wilber, a former prisoner at Hoa Lo Prison, Thomas Eugene Wilber first came to Vietnam in 2014. By the end of 2023, he had returned 43 times. What began as a journey to Hoa Lo Prison from family memories grew into something greater: a path of reconciliation and the healing power of time and compassion.

A fundraising campaign in support of the Cuban people, led by the Vietnam Red Cross Society, has drawn wide attention from international media. The New York Times (US) described it as a testament to the solidarity between the two nations, while Granma (Cuba) highlighted that the funds raised exceeded the initial target by fivefold.
