Former Ambassador Writes Book Featuring The Netherlands' Success and Uniqueness
The book titled "Kingdom of Netherlands - Keywords for Success and Uniqueness", written by former Vietnamese Ambassador to the Netherlands, Pham Viet Anh, was just launched in Hanoi.
The book records the author's feelings about the valuable qualities of the Dutch people, thereby seeing the stature and reality of this country's way of thinking, exactly according to what he wishes to convey through the book - "must find as many good things as possible from their country to bring back to Vietnam".
Especially, the book includes 20 keywords arranged alphabetically to help the author portray a panorama of the Netherlands with familiar images of wooden clogs, tulips, windmills, and the circular economy, as the author commented, "The book is like a picture with many pieces reflecting the colorful and multi-faceted people and life of the country of tulips."

Dutch Ambassador to Vietnam Kees Van Baar, former Vice Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly Ha Huy Thong, Deputy Director of the Centre of Information and Documentation Nguyen Viet Kien, the deputy director of Tre Publishing House and members of the diplomatic community gathered at the event.
According to Ambassador Pham Viet Anh, the Netherlands, also known as the lowlands, has experienced many difficulties and had to adapt to unfavorable natural conditions. They turn challenges into opportunities to rise and achieve current prosperity. This country is the birthplace of great scientists, talented artists, scientific inventions, and digital technology turning points that help change the world.
Through that, the author wants to send to Vietnamese readers a message about the desire and tireless efforts to adapt to harsh conditions during the process of building the country of the Dutch people, along with that, he drew valuable lessons from the Netherlands so that Vietnam can develop and grow strongly. As Darwin, the father of the theory of evolution once said, "It is not the most intellectual of the species that survives; it is not the strongest that survives," Ha Huy Thong, former Vietnamese Ambassador to the Netherlands shared at the launching ceremony, "Don't fight nature anymore, adapt to it."
