Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Hieu, Vice Rector of the University of Education (University of Danang), expressed his pleasure in welcoming Thai students to the university and encouraged them to study diligently to achieve good results during their time in Vietnam.
Pham Huu Hoa, Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam–Thailand Friendship Association and President of the Vietnam-Thailand Friendship Association of Da Nang City, provided an overview of the city, the Association’s activities, and the close relationship between the Central Committee of the Vietnam-Thailand Friendship Association and the Central Committee of the Thailand–Vietnam Friendship Association. He wished the Thai students a productive, joyful, and healthy experience while studying at the University of Education (University of Danang). He affirmed that the Vietnam-Thailand Friendship Association of Da Nang will accompany and support them throughout their studies in Vietnam.
Dr. Mai Xuan Hung, representative of Udon Thani Rajabhat University (Thailand) and member of the Vietnam-Thailand Friendship Association, expressed hope that the University of Education (University of Danang) would create favorable conditions for Thai students to complete their study program in Vietnam successfully.
According to the Vietnam–Thailand Friendship Association, each scholarship under the educational project "Intensive Vietnamese Language Program for Thai Students," sponsored by the Thailand–Vietnam Friendship Association and its partners, is valued at 50,000 baht. Scholarship recipients will study Vietnamese at Udon Thani Rajabhat University and undergo one month of Vietnamese language practice at the University of Education (University of Danang). The program aims to enhance Vietnamese language proficiency and cultural understanding among Thai students, contributing to the development of young individuals who serve as a bridge to strengthen friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
