Exhibition to Honor Vietnam's Cultural and Natural Heritage in Nghe An
According to the Vietnam Culture and Art Exhibition Center, an exhibition on cultural and natural heritage and traditional handicraft products was held from November 22-26 in Vinh city, the central province of Nghe An.

The event, to be jointly organised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the provincial People’s Committee, is part of activities to celebrate the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23) and to mark the 10th anniversary of Vi-Giam folk singing being recognised by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity. The exhibition aims to honor the values of tangible and intangible cultural heritage, relic sites and landscapes of Vietnam as well as affirm the potential for cultural tourism development, creating a strong impetus for tourism development, and enhancing the image and prestige of the country and its people. |
