G4 Ambassadors Engage with Local Communities in Thua Thien-Hue

On July 1 in Hanoi, the Vietnam-Australia Friendship Association held its 3rd National Congress for the 2025-2030 term. In her congratulatory remarks, Australian Ambassador to Vietnam Gillian Bird emphasized that what makes the relationship between the two countries special is not only the cooperation between their governments but also the strong and enduring people-to-people ties. Friendship associations serve as the “heart” of this bond, spaces that foster dialogue, mutual understanding, and meaningful exchange.

President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien affirmed that the achievements in Vietnam-Republic of Korea (RoK) relations have been significantly contributed to by people-to-people diplomacy, including the active role of the Association of People Loving Vietnam in the RoK (VESAMO).

During a press gathering commemorating the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Bulgaria (1950-2025) on June 27th, held by the Vietnamese Embassy in Bulgaria, representatives from local media shared positive assessments of Vietnam’s socio-economic and diplomatic achievements over nearly 40 years of Doi Moi (Renewal).

The Party Committee of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations will continue to innovate, professionalize, mobilize the society to participate and create a brave, modern and effective people-to-people diplomacy in the era of globalization, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central organizations, Vice President - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front expressed her confidence when giving a speech directing the Congress of the Party Committee of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations for the 2025-2030 tenure on June 26 in Hanoi.
