At the conference, Dr. Vu Van Tien personally presented 50 gift packages from the “For the Poor” Fund of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to disadvantaged and near-poor households in Tran Phu Commune. Each package was valued at VND 1.3 million, including VND 1 million in cash and a Tet gift bag worth VND 300,000.
This marked the second time during this Tet season that Dr. Vu Van Tien visited and delivered support to the locality. Earlier, with the heartfelt sentiment of a son returning to his roots, he personally contributed 100 gift packages, each comprising a warm blanket, a gift bag, and VND 300,000 in cash, to help residents enjoy a warmer and more fulfilling Tet celebration.
This year also marks the 10th consecutive year that Dr. Vu Van Tien has sustained these charitable efforts, joining hands with local authorities to care for residents during Tet in the former Nam Sach District and what is now Tran Phu Commune.
