At the age of 97, Major General Vo So is the oldest delegate attending this Congress. He previously served as Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Deputy Commander of Corps 12 and has spent many years working in Front affairs.

Currently, as President of the Vietnam Truong Son - Ho Chi Minh Trail Traditional Association, he and the Association actively participate in social welfare programs, gratitude activities, and conveying the aspirations and concerns of the people to relevant authorities through the Front system.

According to Lao Dong Newspaper, Major General Vo So stated that the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front is a particularly significant congress as it is being held following the restructuring of socio-political organizations under the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

He believes that expanding and bringing more social organizations into the Front is an appropriate direction to further promote the strength of great national unity.

Entering the new term, he expressed his hope that the Vietnam Fatherland Front would continue to promote its role in supervision and social criticism, contributing to building a clean and strong Party and government, while paying greater attention to people in remote and disadvantaged areas, contributors to the nation, and policy beneficiaries.

Meanwhile, Lo Thi Nga graduated in early childhood education from Tay Bac University at the end of 2024. She is currently a member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Muong Luan Commune, Dien Bien Province, while awaiting the next round of public recruitment examinations to fulfill her dream of becoming a teacher.

In her locality, she actively participates in activities organized by the Front and mass organizations, encouraging young people to develop the economy and preserve the cultural identity of the Lao ethnic group.

Attending this Congress, Lo Thi Nga hopes to convey the voice of young people in mountainous areas, particularly regarding employment opportunities for ethnic minority graduates after completing their studies.

“I hope there will be more policies supporting start-ups and prioritizing recruitment for children of ethnic minority communities in localities. When young people have stable jobs, they will become a core force in building the great national unity bloc,” Nga said.
