The contest is organized by the Central Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization in coordination with the National Assembly Party Committee. It is conducted in the form of online multiple-choice quizzes on the Bao Cao Vien electronic portal (https://baocaovien.vn) of the Central Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization, the People's Representative newspaper website, the National Assembly’s e-portal, and several newspapers, magazines, and websites linked to the contest.

According to the organizing committee, the contest content focuses on several key topics, including the achievements of 80 years of the National Assembly of Vietnam, major historical milestones, and orientations for renewing the organization and operations of the National Assembly in the new period. It also covers the position, role, functions, tasks, and powers of the National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels, along with information related to the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils for the 2026-2031 term.

The contest takes place over two weeks: the first week from February 27 to March 8, 2026, and the second week from March 9 to March 15, 2026. Each participant may take the quiz up to seven times per week, and each online attempt lasts a maximum of 10 minutes.

At the end of each week, the organizing committee will announce the winners on the Bao Cao Vien electronic portal.

The weekly prize structure includes one first prize worth 5,000,000 VND; two second prizes worth 3,000,000 VND each; three third prizes worth 2,000,000 VND each; and ten consolation prizes worth 1,000,000 VND each. In addition, for the first time, the organizing committee will award ten additional prizes each week to individuals who significantly help spread information about the contest (each prize worth 1,000,000 VND). These prizes will be based on criteria such as the participant with the highest number of introductions or shares of the contest, those who completed the weekly quiz, and those who finished the quiz in the shortest time.

According to the organizing committee, the online contest on the National Assembly and People’s Councils elections is an activity with profound political and social significance. It helps raise awareness, strengthen public trust in the Party and the State, and promote the civic responsibility of officials, Party members, and citizens toward Election Day so that it truly becomes a festival of the entire people. Organizing the contest online also demonstrates innovation in communication methods, in line with the requirement to promote digital transformation in information, education, and mass mobilization work, while enhancing the application of digital technology to spread official, timely, and accurate information in cyberspace.
