According to C06, this feature allows voters to track their designated polling station while also viewing the list and profiles of candidates running in their electoral area. In cases where voters wish to change their polling location to better suit their living or working conditions on election day, they may also submit a request directly through the application.
Specifically, for voters who wish to change their polling location between their permanent residence and temporary residence, a request can be created on VNeID at least 24 hours before the election time, that is, before 7:00 a.m. on March 14, 2026.
For voters who, due to work or travel to another locality, are unable to vote at the polling station where their name is registered on the voter list or at their place of residence, they may register to vote at another location via VNeID in order to receive a Certificate of Eligibility to Vote at Another Location (electronic version). The registration must be completed before the election time, specifically before 7:00 a.m. on March 15, 2026.
According to guidance from C06, the National Assembly Election feature on VNeID enables voters to look up their polling station information through their personal electronic identification account. The system clearly displays each citizen’s polling area and electoral scope, thereby assisting voters in accessing necessary information and exercising their voting rights in accordance with regulations.
The application also integrates a function that allows users to submit requests to change their polling location, helping facilitate citizens’ participation in the election process and promoting the development of digital citizenship in the context of the ongoing digital transformation. This feature applies to citizens who possess a Level 2 electronic identification account.

To look up or change their polling location, citizens log in to the VNeID application, select the “Other Services” section, and then access the “Election of the 16th National Assembly” feature. After authentication using a passcode or biometric verification, users can view their polling station information and submit a request for changes if necessary.
In cases of registering to vote in another locality under Article 34 of the Law on Election of Deputies to the National Assembly and People’s Councils (Consolidated Document No. 85/VBHN-VPQH dated August 20, 2025), voters must select the address of the new polling location, provide a full explanation for the change, and supply contact information so that the commune-level People’s Committee and police authorities can conveniently conduct verification.
After completing the process, the system will display a notification confirming the successful creation of the request and will update the processing results on the application. Voters can also track the history of their requests to change polling locations or view the Certificate of Eligibility to Vote at Another Location directly on VNeID once the request has been approved.
In addition to looking up polling station information, the VNeID application also provides a feature allowing users to view the list and profiles of candidates in each electoral area.
Under the “List of candidates” section, citizens can select the electoral scope and specific address to search for candidate lists. The system will display the corresponding list, enabling voters to view detailed profiles of each candidate to support their review and selection.
According to C06, integrating election-related utilities into VNeID not only helps voters access information conveniently and transparently but also contributes to raising public awareness and responsibility when participating in elections, while promoting digital transformation in state management and public services.
