People-to-people diplomacy needs to shift decisively from friendship exchanges to resource connectivity, closely aligning with the development goals of the Capital and the country. This orientation was emphasized by leaders of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to enhance the effectiveness of people-to-people diplomacy and contribute to achieving the Capital's development objectives in the new period.

The Viet Nam-Lao Friendship Association held its third Executive Committee Conference of the fifth term on December 26 in Ha Noi. Speaking at the conference, President of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations Phan Anh Son emphasized that people-to-people diplomacy must directly take part in nurturing and deepening the substance of “strategic connectivity,” a new framework in Viet Nam-Lao relations.

On December 12th in Hanoi, the Vietnam Committee for Solidarity with Palestinian People, the Vietnam-Palestine Friendship Association, and the Palestinian Embassy in Vietnam jointly organized a ceremony to commemorate the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People (November 29th).

These were the reflections shared by Pham My Le, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO), at the Ceremony celebrating the 75th Anniversary of VUFO’s Traditional Day, as she spoke about the journey of training, growth, and the aspiration to contribute of the young generation in the cause of people-to-people diplomacy.
