Sixth Vietnam Day in Moscow State Institute of International Relations

Every Lunar New Year, members of the social and charitable group “New Sunlight for Children” in Sydney, Australia, come together to wrap banh chung - a tradition they have maintained consistently for many years to preserve national cultural identity while strengthening connections within the Vietnamese community far from home.

Held online, Gala Yeu Tet 2026 brought together overseas Vietnamese children from numerous countries, creating a special space for cultural exchange where the Vietnamese Lunar New Year (Tet) was told through music, art, and the love for one’s roots nurtured by young generations living far from home.

On February 8, at the International Convention Center, a delegation of 100 outstanding overseas Vietnamese representatives from 32 countries and territories attending the Homeland Spring 2026 program paid a courtesy visit to Bui Thi Minh Hoai, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Within the framework of the Homeland Spring 2026 program, on February 7, a delegation of 100 outstanding overseas Vietnamese from 32 countries and territories around the world took part in a day of exchanges, visits, and hands-on experiences in Ninh Binh Province. The trip was not only a journey back to the historical and cultural roots of the nation, but also helped strengthen bonds between the overseas Vietnamese community and their homeland.
