The 31st “Action for Community” program, organized by the H2O Volunteer Group in collaboration with the Gia Lai Red Cross, became a meaningful and heartfelt event thanks to the support of many organizations and businesses, including Number 1 brand under Tan Hiep Phat Trading and Service Co., Ltd.

No development can be truly sustainable without cooperation between businesses and the community. With the humanitarian efforts of the H2O group, the support of partners such as the Gia Lai Red Cross, Tan Hiep Phat, BW Industrial, BIDV, VietinBank, NPE Engineering, VOV College of Broadcasting and Television II, and the open-hearted people of Kon Chiêng, the 31st “Action for Community” program became more than an event. It became a bridge of emotions, a place where hearts met to spread love and compassion.

Nguyen Thanh Cong, Head of the Organizing Committee, said that surveys showed Kon Chiêng is an extremely disadvantaged commune, with more than 90% of the population belonging to ethnic minority groups. The volunteer team hoped to act as a connection, spreading the spirit of sharing to local residents.

“When we conducted the survey, we saw that people here lacked many basic necessities. That is why we chose Kon Chiêng as our destination. What touched us most were the difficult living conditions—the old wooden stilt houses and steep, muddy roads that required tracked vehicles to pass. Those images encouraged us to come here no matter how difficult it was,” Cong shared.

The 31st “Action for Community” attracted 130 volunteers. Pediatrician Bui Thi Minh Phuong, who is also a postgraduate student at Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, said that the 12-hour journey over rough mountain passes brought her many emotional moments. Seeing the hardships of local families firsthand deeply moved her and made her wish she could bring even more medicine and love to help them. She added that the trip strengthened her understanding of compassion—an essential quality for anyone in the medical profession.

The atmosphere at the handover ceremony and community activities felt truly special. Local residents not only received material gifts but also felt genuine care and kindness from volunteers who came from afar with love in their hearts.

Le Thi Minh Hung, Sales Director of Export and Modern Trade Channels representing the Number 1 brand of Tan Hiep Phat, shared:
“As someone born in the mighty Central Highlands, every return to my homeland brings back special emotions. This time, representing Tan Hiep Phat in the 31st ‘Action for Community’ program in Kon Chiêng, Mang Yang District, I felt deeply honored. It was a memorable day where many caring hearts joined together to bring warmth and meaning to the community. I was truly moved to see the excited eyes and bright smiles of local people when they received health check-ups, gifts, clean water from newly dug wells, solar-powered light, new charity houses, and especially access to knowledge through the new ‘Back-to-School Library’—a place that will open the first pages of dreams for local children.”

A member of the H2O group added emotionally:
“Every time we organize a program like this, we feel like we return to our childhood—living more slowly, feeling genuine human connection. When we saw children hugging their new books like precious treasures or elders crying because they received free medical check-ups, we knew all our efforts were worth it.”
