Alongside recognizing the efforts of party committees and party organizations at all levels in environmental protection, the 3rd Plenum of the 14th Party Central Committee seriously discussed and analyzed shortcomings in this area. On that basis, the Plenum issued Conclusion No. 75-KL/TW dated July 28, 2026, on environmental protection and proactive responses to climate change in the new period, emphasizing the view that environmental protection and responses to climate change must be incorporated into a broader new mindset and vision and placed at the center of development decisions.
