Vietnam - Netherlands Collaborate on Sustainable Solutions for Aquaculture

On September 6, the Cuban Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) coordinated with the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Association of HCMC to organize the inauguration ceremony of a mural created by students from the HCMC University of Fine Arts, on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Vietnam’s Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and Japan’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (hereinafter referred to as the two Ministries) held a signing ceremony on the morning of September 5 in Tokyo to extend the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation for the 2026-2030 period

“We have immense admiration and respect for the Vietnamese people. Cuba’s development today bears the great contribution of Vietnam’s comprehensive support. And the best way for us to reciprocate is to accompany Vietnam on its path of development.” This was shared by Victo Fidel Gaute Lospez, Vice President of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), during a working session with the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations on September 4.

International delegates from the RoK, Laos, Cambodia, China, Thailand, Japan, and others expressed deep emotions and strong impressions about the scale, professionalism, and profound meaning of the Celebration of the 80th Anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), along with the “Meeting and Tribute to International Friends on the Occasion of the 80th National Day of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.”
