A highlight of the Vietnamese delegation was the community choir’s performance of the play “Meeting in the Human World.” The work draws on Vietnamese folk cultural materials, combined with modern elements to create a sense of familiarity for the local audience.
In addition, martial arts performances by the Son Long Quyen Thuat club drew public attention. Strong, decisive yet fluid movements helped introduce the spirit of Vietnamese martial arts within an international cultural space.
In fashion, ao dai designs and costumes inspired by Hue royal culture, along with the imagery of Au Co and Lac Long Quan, were showcased on the streets, creating a striking visual impression. These images enabled French audiences to directly engage with the depth of Vietnam’s history and cultural identity.
A representative of the organizing committee noted that the increasingly active participation of Vietnamese associations has enriched the content of the Châteaudun Carnaval, enhancing its cultural diversity and overall appeal.
Vietnam’s prominent presence at the Châteaudun Carnaval 2026 once again affirms the role of the overseas Vietnamese community in people-to-people diplomacy. Through diverse forms of cultural expression, the image of Vietnam is widely promoted, contributing to strengthening the foundation of friendship and cooperation between the two countries amid deepening international integration.
