According to several international travel magazines, Vietnam is gaining attention thanks to its balanced combination of high-quality healthcare services and an increasingly well-developed resort infrastructure. Travel and Tour World noted that medical tourism in Vietnam is expected to grow significantly in the coming years, particularly among international visitors seeking premium healthcare services within a complete holiday experience.

Vietnam’s advantages lie in its competitive costs, improving service quality approaching international standards, and the integration of modern medicine with traditional therapies such as acupuncture, herbal treatments, and rehabilitation. Key destinations showing strong appeal in this segment include Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Quang Ninh, and Khanh Hoa.

Among these, Khanh Hoa is considered especially promising thanks to its mild climate, distinctive coastal landscapes, high-end resorts, and growing healthcare services. Under its tourism development orientation through 2030, the province is prioritizing wellness-integrated resort tourism, aiming to offer visitors a fully relaxing and restorative experience.

Forbes also highlighted that medical tourism is increasingly attracting international travelers, particularly for services such as dental care, general health check-ups, and short-term treatment packages incorporated into holidays.

As global demand continues to rise, Vietnam is expected to further strengthen its position by standardizing service quality, improving foreign language capabilities, and enhancing destination promotion. The goal is not only to attract visitors for scenic exploration, but also to position Vietnam as a place for recharging energy, restoring health, and improving overall quality of life.
