The Embassy of Vietnam in Bulgaria, concurrently accredited to North Macedonia, in collaboration with the Vietnam Cultural and Tourism Association in Europe (VNCT), the Vietnam Cultural Center in France, and the organizers of the Skopje Summer Festival, successfully hosted the "Vietnam Day in Skopje 2026" event on June 30, at the National Opera and Ballet Theatre in the center of Skopje.

People-to-people diplomacy needs to shift decisively from friendship exchanges to resource connectivity, closely aligning with the development goals of the Capital and the country. This orientation was emphasized by leaders of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to enhance the effectiveness of people-to-people diplomacy and contribute to achieving the Capital's development objectives in the new period.

On June 27-28, 2026, the Consulate General of Vietnam in Pakse, in collaboration with the Vietnamese Association of Sekong Province, Champasak - Lam Dong Gifted High School (Champasak Province), and the Lao - Vietnamese Friendship School of Sekong, organized a STEM Robotics training program for 30 teachers and students of the Lao - Vietnamese Friendship School.

On June 29 in Bac Ninh, the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association of Bac Ninh held its first General Assembly for the 2026-2031 term, marking the consolidation of its organization following the merger of the Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association of Bac Giang with the former Bac Ninh Association. In the new term, the Association aims to recruit more than 500 members, build a strong and cohesive organization, and further promote its core role in people‑to‑people diplomacy.
