Vietnamese Ambassador Meets Holy See's Minister of Foreign Affairs to Boost Ties
Ambassador Duong Hai Hung paid a courtesy call to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Holy See, Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher, on July 7, at the Vatican.
In addition to maintaining the effectiveness and adaptability of the exchange channels and the function of the non-resident Special Envoy of the Vatican in Vietnam, the two parties hailed the positive development of relations between Vietnam and the Holy See.
As a result, it has helped to improve between the two sides and has met the needs of the Catholic Community in Vietnam as well as their shared interests. The two parties also decided to work even closer together in the future to advance their relations through actionable initiatives.

On the basis of cooperation, dialogue, understanding, and respect, Ambassador Duong Hai Hung honored his commitment to doing everything in his power to support the advancements between Vietnam and the Vatican.
The foreign minister of the Vatican stated that he hoped that the connection between Vietnam and the Holy See would continue to grow, opening up opportunities for the Vietnamese Catholic Community to contribute favorably to the nation's progress.
