Speaking at the opening of the program, Ngo Trinh Ha, Consul General of Vietnam in Osaka, expressed his deep sympathy for the losses and damage suffered by people in Vietnam's central and northern provinces as a result of Typhoon No. 10 (Bualoi).

He affirmed that the Consulate General always stands side by side with the Vietnamese community in Japan in activities that support the homeland and share hardships with people in Vietnam, especially during times of natural disasters and adversity.
Consul General Ngo Trinh Ha called on the Vietnamese community in the Kansai region to uphold the spirit of solidarity and mutual support, a cherished tradition of the nation, and to join hands in supporting compatriots back home, helping them overcome the aftermath of the storm and soon stabilize their lives.

The fundraising program in support of people in Vietnam affected by Typhoon No. 10 attracted the participation of representatives from associations, businesses, and a large number of overseas Vietnamese in the Kansai region.
Le Thuong, a representative of the Vietnamese community in the Kansai region, shared: “Although we live far from home, Vietnamese people in Kansai always look toward our homeland, wishing to contribute in our own small way to help those in storm-hit areas overcome their difficulties.”
The donation drive launched by the Vietnamese Consulate General in Osaka was a noble gesture that reflected the solidarity and compassion of the Vietnamese community in Kansai. The program helped spread a message of humanity, inspiring a spirit of sharing and social responsibility among Vietnamese expatriates in Japan. It demonstrated their heartfelt support for compatriots back home through meaningful and practical actions.
