At the seminar, Professor Nguyen Duc Khuong expressed concerns about the economic challenges Vietnam must overcome to become a developed nation by 2045. Dr. Vo Toan Trung emphasized the importance of establishing medicine and biotechnology as key pillars of Vietnam’s economy.
Dr. Tran Duy Chau advocated for leveraging overseas expertise in energy development, particularly in nuclear and green energy. Besides, Professor Ha Minh Cuong proposed strategies to create an education and training framework aimed at producing a workforce of skilled scientists and professionals.
Though each expert focused on different areas, they shared a common aspiration: contributing to Vietnam’s growth during the "era of rise," as called for by General Secretary To Lam.
Delegates voiced a shared desire to contribute their intellect and efforts to Vietnam’s development and expressed hope that the Party and Government would effectively leverage this valuable human resource.
Dr. Vo Toan Trung noted the significant potential of the overseas Vietnamese intellectual community, which holds influential positions in many countries worldwide. He highlighted the importance of a strategic approach to development based on key pillars such as biotechnology, semiconductors, information technology, digital transformation, and green energy.
He further stressed the necessity of combining domestic resources with external expertise, particularly the contributions of overseas Vietnamese intellectuals.
"The overseas intellectual community, with its deep expertise, represents an invaluable resource for Vietnam. They can assist in areas ranging from strategic development planning and high-quality human resource training to the execution of practical technological projects, thus helping the nation achieve its goals," Dr. Trung emphasized.

He also commended the Vietnamese intellectual community in France for their efforts to support the country’s development strategies, benefiting ministries and localities.
