From the evening and night of March 6, cold air affected other places in the Northeast, then the Northwest and North Central regions. The wind shifts to the Northeast inland at level 2-3, in coastal areas at level 3.

From tonight, the Northern and North Central regions will be cold. During this cold wave, the lowest temperature in the North is commonly from 15-18 degrees, in some places in high mountains it is below 10 degrees. The North Central region is commonly 16-19 degrees.

The weather forecast in different regions

Northwest region: The weather forecast is predicted to be cloudy with no rain at night, and early morning fog in some places. Lowest temperature: 16-19 degrees. The highest temperature is from 25-28 degrees, with some places above 35 degrees.

Northeast region: The weather will be cloudy and rainy in the evening and night, with early morning fog. At noon, the clouds decrease and the weather becomes sunny. The lowest temperature is 18-21 degrees, in some mountainous areas it is below 17 degrees. The highest temperature is 24-27 degrees.

Thanh Hoa – Thua Thien Hue: The weather is forecasted to be cloudy with no rain at night, and sunny in the morning and afternoon. Lowest temperature: North 19-22 degrees; South 21-24 degrees. Highest temperature: North 27-30 degrees; South 35-37 degrees.

Da Nang – Binh Thuan: The weather will be cloudy and sunny during the day, with no rain at night. The lowest temperature is from 22-25 degrees. The highest temperature ranges from 30-33 degrees, in some places above 33 degrees.

The Central Highlands: The weather is forecasted to be cloudy and sunny during the day, with showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and night. The lowest temperature is 19-22 degrees, some places below 18 degrees. Highest temperature: 31-34 degrees.

The Southern region: The weather will be cloudy and sunny during the day, with no rain at night. Lowest temperature: 23 – 26 degrees. Highest temperature: 32-35 degrees, with some places above 36 degrees.

Hanoi: According to the National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting, the weather in the Hanoi area will be sunny in the afternoon, with light rain and cold temperatures at night. The temperature fluctuates between 28 - 30 degrees, down 3 degrees compared to the previous day. Common relative humidity is 58 - 81%, cloud density is 3 - 4%.

Ho Chi Minh City: According to the National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting, the weather in the Ho Chi Minh City area will be sunny throughout the day, with no rain at night. The temperature fluctuates between 34 - 37 degrees, up 1 degree compared to the previous day. Common relative humidity is 48 - 65%, cloud density is 59 - 78%.

Da Nang: According to the National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting, the weather in the Da Nang area will be sunny during the day, with increased heat waves. The temperature fluctuates between 34 - 35 degrees, up 2 degrees compared to the previous day. Common relative humidity is 59 - 61%, cloud density is 2 - 14%.
