The event immersed audiences in a vibrant Vietnamese atmosphere. Lion dances, traditional musical performances, conical-hat dances, and an elegant Ao Dai showcase left a strong impression. The folk games corner drew enthusiastic crowds with sack races and the classic pot-breaking challenge, while an art exhibition and a rich culinary space featuring Pho, Bun Cha, Goi Cuon, and iced milk coffee added to the festive experience.

The program also featured community artists, singers, and young author Hoang Pham Hai Anh, who introduced a special gift edition imbued with Vietnamese identity. Together, they created a vibrant and emotionally charged cultural festival.

Trung Nguyen, who oversaw the folk games section, shared: “We wanted to recreate childhood memories from Vietnam in the most familiar way so that international friends could experience and connect with them. Seeing the excitement, laughter, and cheers, I truly believe traditional culture always carries a strong vitality.”

Viet Nam Odyssea was entirely student-led - from concept and fundraising to communications, logistics, and coordination - demonstrating the creativity, solidarity, and capabilities of Vietnamese youth.

Mai Nguyen, Head of the Organizing Committee, shared: “We wanted to create a space where Vietnamese students abroad could feel less homesick while also introducing Vietnamese culture to international friends. The success of Viet Nam Odyssea will serve as a foundation for VSAC to build a stronger and more connected Vietnamese student community.”
