From May 12 to 14, the Tien Giang Union of Friendship Organizations, in coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cai Lay District and local authorities, held a handover ceremony for 10 Great Solidarity Houses to poor households and families facing housing difficulties.

Through a workshop titled "Application of Science and Technology in Flood Risk Management in Vietnam”, the organizers hope to promote initiatives that apply science and technology in disaster prevention and control, disseminate practical lessons learned, and contribute to building safe, climate-resilient communities.

On May 10 and 11, the Hai Duong Union of Friendship Organizations, in collaboration with the Tzu Chi Foundation (Taiwan, China,) held a program to distribute aid under the initiative “Educational support for disadvantaged students in the 2024-2025 academic year.”

With the support of CARE International in Vietnam (CARE), the “Moving Forward” project is making a meaningful impact on the livelihoods of residents in Lang hamlet, Lac Son district, Hoa Binh province. This initiative is driving positive change through the development of a model for cultivating and processing green hemp, a vital crop in the region.
