Tribute to International Friends: 80 Years of Companionship with Vietnam
On September 2 in Hanoi, the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO), in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and relevant agencies, hosted a “Meeting and Tribute to International Friends on the 80th Anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.” Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, and President of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Central Committee Do Van Chien attended and delivered remarks at the event.

Some Reflections on Implementing Ho Chi Minh’s Ideology on Vietnam’s People-to-People Diplomacy over the Past 80 Years
Vietnam’s people-to-people diplomacy was formed and developed on the foundation of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology: combining national strength with the strength of the times; making more friends and fewer enemies; solidarity and great unity; taking the people as the root; integrating the comprehensive strength of Party diplomacy, State diplomacy, and people-to-people diplomacy. This cause has continuously grown and matured, making worthy contributions to the glorious pages of Vietnam’s modern diplomacy over the past 80 years, and is now standing at the threshold of being reorganized to meet the demands of the new era of nation's rise.

Many Proposals for Cooperation to Promote Vietnam-Brazil Parliamentary Diplomacy and People-to-People Exchanges
On August 19 in Hanoi, President of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) Phan Anh Son received the Brazil-Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Group led by its Chairman, Márcio Honaiser. Both sides affirmed the role of parliamentary diplomacy and people-to-people diplomacy in advancing the Vietnam-Brazil Strategic Partnership, while also putting forward a number of concrete cooperation proposals for the time ahead.
Commemorating 72nd Anniversary of Moncada Barracks Attack: Vietnam, Cuba Strengthen Special Friendship
On July 26 in Hanoi, the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations, the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Association, Nhan Dan Newspaper, and the Cuban Embassy in Vietnam jointly held the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Meeting to commemorate the 72nd anniversary of the Moncada Barracks attack (July 26, 1953 - July 26, 2025).
Strengthening Structure, Expanding Partnerships, and Enhancing System-wide Effectiveness of Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations
On July 18 in Hanoi, the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) held a Conference on information sharing with its member organizations at the central level. The conference was chaired by VUFO President Phan Anh Son and Vice Presidents Dong Huy Cuong and Nguyen Ngoc Hung, with the participation of leaders and officials from VUFO’s departments and units, as well as representatives of central-level member organizations.
Supporting Foreign NGOs in Adapting to Restructuring of Administrative Units in Vietnam
On July 17 in Hanoi, the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations and the Committee for Foreign Non-Governmental Organization Affairs (the Committee) jointly held an information-sharing conference with foreign non-governmental organizations (NGOs). The hybrid-format conference aimed to assist these organizations in adapting to the ongoing restructuring of administrative units in Vietnam, while also enhancing connectivity, information exchange, and activity orientation in the coming period.

On July 16, President of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) Phan Anh Son received a delegation led by Wei Ran, Director General of the Foreign Affairs Office and President of the People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The two sides affirmed their strong commitment to consolidating and further deepening the sister-city and locality relations between Vietnam and China.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Hoang Hiep Elected President of the Vietnam-Brazil Friendship and Cooperation Association for the 2025-2030 Term
On July 15 in Hanoi, the Vietnam-Brazil Friendship and Cooperation Association held its third congress for the 2025-2030 term. Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Nguyen Hoang Hiep was elected President of the Association for the new term.

On June 24 in Hanoi, Vietnam Education Publishing House coordinated with the Embassy of Chile in Vietnam to organize the Launch Ceremony of the children book's series "Papelucho" in Vietnam. Over nearly 20 years of living and working in Vietnam, Jang Chin Hyuk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of DK ENC Vietnam Joint Stock Company, has actively engaged in charitable initiatives alongside his business endeavors. Positioning Vietnamese Values Abroad in the Digital and AI Era
At the Senate meeting hall of the Hungarian National Assembly, more than 300 delegates representing women’s associations from 18 European countries attended the forum titled “Positioning Vietnamese Values Abroad in the Digital and Artificial Intelligence Era” on the afternoon of June 15th. The event was organized by the Vietnam Women’s Forum in Europe and co-sponsored by the Embassy of Vietnam in Hungary.
