Football Exchange Promotes Cohesion Among Viet Expats in Germany

The Vietnamese Embassy football team in Germany has a friendly football match with the VLC football club of the Vietnamese community in Berlin on April 22.
This is an annual sports activity aimed at enhancing exchanges, enhancing cohesion and understanding between the team of the representative agency and the Vietnamese community in the German capital.
Speaking at the opening ceremony before the match, Vietnamese Ambassador to Germany Vu Quang Minh underlined the significance of the event, saying that an annual sports activity that helps the two teams have the opportunity to exchange and connect together, further enhancing the close and lasting relationship that has been cultivated over the years.
On this occasion, Ambassador Vu Quang Minh also presented the certificate of merit from the Embassy to VLC Club for its positive contributions to the sports movement of the Vietnamese community in Berlin in particular and Germany in general, contributes to building an increasingly united and developed community.

On behalf of the VLC Club, its President Do Van Phuc expressed his gratitude for the Embassy's interest in the community's sports movement, and said he would continue to maintain the sports activities and exchange activities, both contributing to improving health as well as promoting the sport movement in general of the Vietnamese community in Germany.
The friendly match took place enthusiastically, spreading the sportsmanship and warmth and friendliness of the Vietnamese people living abroad.
For many years, football exchanges between the Embassy team and VLC have been maintained annually, becoming a useful playground for officials, employees and their children.

Founded in 2006 in Berlin, VLC Club registered to operate as an association in Germany with an ever-expanding membership.
The club maintains weekly practice and regularly organises exchanges and connections, especially has successfully hosted many friendly tournaments with Vietnamese football teams in Germany as well as with local teams.
