On April 8, Booking.com announced that Mui Ne ranked among the top 10 most searched destinations in the first half of 2026.
Based on data collected from December 1, 2025 to March 30, with check-in dates between January 1 and June 30, the global travel platform reported that Mui Ne ranked 9th among the 10 most searched domestic destinations by Vietnamese travelers - up one position compared to the same period last year.
During the same survey period, Mui Ne also ranked 8th among the 10 most searched destinations in Vietnam by international travelers, alongside Da Nang, Phu Quoc, and Ho Chi Minh City.
According to Booking.com, this growth reflects Mui Ne’s diverse appeal, ranging from adventure sports and desert-like landscapes to premium seaside resort experiences.
Branavan Aruljothi, Country Director of Booking.com in Vietnam, stated: “Mui Ne’s emergence as one of the trending global destinations for 2026 reflects a shift in travel demand, as travelers increasingly seek destinations that combine nature with adventure.”
Previously, in December 2025, Mui Ne was the only representative of Vietnam included in Booking.com’s list of the 10 global trending destinations for 2026, alongside Bilbao (Spain), Barranquilla (Colombia), Philadelphia (USA), Guangzhou (China), Sal (Cape Verde), Manaus (Brazil), Münster (Germany), Kochi (India), and Port Douglas (Australia).
The Mui Ne National Tourism Area currently features more than 600 accommodation establishments with nearly 18,000 rooms along a prime coastal stretch extending from Phu Hai Ward to Phan Ri Cua Commune, forming one of the most vibrant resort corridors in Vietnam.
Earlier, in the “Year in Search 2025” list by Google in the travel category, Mui Ne ranked third among the top 10 most searched destinations, following Da Lat and An Giang.
