According to information shared during the exchange, under the framework of the educational initiative “Intensive Vietnamese Language Program for Thai Students”, the Thailand-Vietnam Friendship Association and its partners will award three scholarships, each valued at 50,000 baht. The recipients will study Vietnamese at Udon Thani University and spend one month practicing the language and exploring Vietnamese culture at the University of Education (University of Da Nang). The program aims to enhance Vietnamese language proficiency and cultural understanding among Thai students, ultimately cultivating a future generation that serves as a bridge between the peoples of both nations.
Pham Huu Hoa, member of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam-Thailand Friendship Association and President of its Da Nang City chapter, welcomed the initiative and confirmed that preparations are underway in coordination with the University of Education to host and support the Thai student delegation during their cultural and academic exchange in Da Nang.
He also expressed hope that the Friendship Associations of both countries will continue to pursue meaningful and practical activities, contributing to the successful implementation of the Vietnam–Thailand Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, which was officially upgraded in May 2025.
