Journeys to explore a new land often conclude with memorable experiences. However, for a German tourist named Pierresjourney, the moment of leaving Vietnam turned into an emotional, tear-filled experience. A video capturing him sitting in a vehicle on the way to the airport, with reddened eyes and continuously sniffling, has been widely shared across social media platforms.

In the video, the tourist could not hide his emotions, sharing: “It feels terrible to leave this place. Just when I’ve fallen deeply in love with the culture and the kindness of the people here, I have to return to Germany.” Amid his emotional moments, he also expressed his desire to come back in the future: “I will buy a one-way ticket to come back here, I promise. I love this place so much - I truly love it.”

The tourist’s sincere and endearing reaction quickly created a small wave of attention online. In the comments section, Vietnamese netizens rushed to offer words of encouragement and comfort, saying they would always warmly welcome him back on another occasion.

Alongside these encouraging messages, many international travelers also shared their own affection for Vietnam. Notably, a visitor from Thailand recounted her personal experiences after multiple visits to Vietnam: “Vietnam is not only beautiful for its landscapes but also for the hearts of its people. For me, it is not just a travel destination, but a place filled with warm, indescribable emotions.” She added that although language barriers sometimes existed, the friendliness and openness of the local people helped erase any distance.

The Thai traveler further shared: “Vietnam is not only beautiful in its scenery, but also in the hearts of its people. I can feel kindness through their eyes, greetings, and small gestures. These things make me love Vietnam more after each trip, and I want to return many times. For Thai women like me, Vietnam is not just a travel destination, but a place filled with beautiful memories, wonderful people, and warm, indescribable emotions.”

The tears of attachment from the German tourist, along with the praise from international friends, serve as the clearest testament to the remarkable appeal of Vietnam’s tourism. Sometimes, grand promotional campaigns are not necessary; rather, it is the hospitality and genuine warmth that leave a lasting impression on visitors, making them long to return even after they have left.
