Traditional Ao Dai and Hanbok Costumes Hit HCMC Catwalk Stage
The Republic of Korea (RoK) Embassy in Vietnam, the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam, the Korea Institute of Design Promotion, the Korea Tourism Organization, the Korea Creative Content Agency, the King Sejong Institute Foundation, and the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation will jointly organize the Vietnam-RoK Friendship Cultural Festival 2024 on Le Loi Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City on October 26 and 27.

The “2024 Hanbok Culture Promotion Week” is organized by the RoK Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. The event offers the people of Ho Chi Minh City an opportunity to experience RoK traditional culture through Hanbok (traditional Korean costume), other cultural products. During the two nights, participants enjoy fashion shows featuring Hanbok and Ao Dai (Vietnamese traditional long dress) collections by Korean designers Song Hyemi (Seodamhwa) and Kim Youngjin (Tchai Kim), and Vietnamese designer Thach Linh. |
