Vietnam Booth at Maputo International Fair (Mozambique) Attracts Many Visitors

Attending the Maputo International Fair (FACIM 2025) is an opportunity for Vietnam to promote the image of the country, its people, the potential for economic, trade-investment cooperation, contributing to promoting substantive and effective cooperation between Vietnam and Mozambique and partners.

From August 25-31, the 60th Maputo International Fair (FACIM 2025) took place at the Ricatla International Convention Center, Marracuene, Maputo Province, Mozambique. More than 800 international units from 27 countries and territories, including Vietnam, participated.

The opening ceremony of the Fair was held on August 25. President of Mozambique Daniel Chapo, members of the Mozambican government, representatives of embassies, international organizations, domestic and foreign businesses attended.

In his remarks, President of Mozambique Daniel Chapo affirmed that FACIM 2025 is one of the historical turning points, opening a new era of cohesive, creative and people-oriented leadership like never before.

In this Fair, the Vietnamese Embassy in Mozambique organized a Vietnamese booth with typical agricultural products such as rice, coffee, tea, chili sauce, spring rolls, and traditional handicraft products. They also introduced publications and leaflets promoting Vietnamese tourism and culture.

Soon after the opening ceremony of the Fair, President of Mozambique Daniel Chapo visited the Vietnamese booth. He expressed his interest in the products and services from Vietnam.

Emphasizing the significance of the Vietnamese Embassy organizing a booth at the Fair, Vietnamese Ambassador to Mozambique Tran Thi Thu Thin said that this is an opportunity to promote the image of the country, people, and the potential for economic-trade and investment cooperation. It helps contribute to promoting substantive and effective Vietnam–Mozambique cooperation, and between Vietnam and partners. At the same time, this activity also shows Vietnam's active support for international trade exchange and investment promotion activities in the locality.

FACIM is Mozambique's largest annual trade fair and one of the most important international trade and investment promotion events in Southern Africa. The fair attracted the participation of 3,150 booths, including 2,350 Mozambican businesses and 800 international units from 27 countries, and the presence of many embassies and international organizations.

It is not only a space to display and introduce products, but also a forum to connect investment, expand partnerships and promote multi-sectoral cooperation between countries.
