During the two days of the event (14-15/6), the Consulate General of Vietnam in Osaka is located at booth No. 15. It welcomed hundreds of overseas Vietnamese people to ask questions about procedures related to passports, birth registration, marriage, nationality, personal papers, and other consular services.

According to Vietnamese Consul General in Osaka Ngo Trinh Ha, this free consultation activity aims to help people understand the process, conditions, and how to prepare documents when they need to contact the Vietnamese representative office in Japan.

"We hope that Vietnamese people abroad always feel the companionship of the State. The festival is an ideal occasion to bring services closer to people, especially those who do not have the conditions to come directly to the Consulate General,” said Ngo Trinh Ha.

One of the highlights of the Vietnam Culture-Food Festival 2025 is the Vietnamese food booth, where more than 30 traditional dishes are presented.

Hanoi beef pho noodle, vermicelli, pancakes, fried spring rolls, sweet Che, iced milk coffee... have brought nostalgia for those who are living in the homeland. Japanese and international guests are also amazed.

An educational booth at the event is owned by Cay Tre Vietnamese Language School. The school presented vivid gifts such as books, badges, and crayons to the children so that they could live in the atmosphere of their homeland.

“Here, children are encouraged and guided to use Vietnamese naturally and proudly. We always keep in mind that language is the soul of culture, and the young generation is the bridge for the future.’ said Le Thuong, Principal of Cay Tre Vietnamese Language School, Chairwoman of the Kansai Vietnamese Association.

The 2-day festival is considered a vivid testament to the close attention of Vietnamese representative agencies to the Vietnamese community in Japan, as well as the continuous efforts in promoting the country's image.
