Vietnamese Embassy in Brunei holds Tet gatherings with OVs

At Truc Lam Monastery (Ambakote, Kandy, Sri Lanka), learners of all ages gather in the temple’s serene atmosphere to study Vietnamese through diverse activities such as games, songs, and experiences related to traditional Vietnamese culture. These classes not only help learners become familiar with the language but also build a close-knit and harmonious community. This model has developed sustainably and has become a highlight in community education, contributing to strengthening cultural exchange between Vietnam and Sri Lanka.

With the attention and priority of the Party and the State, reflected through practical policies and initiatives; the active involvement of ministries, agencies, and mass organizations; and the enthusiastic response of Vietnamese communities abroad, the movement to teach and learn the Vietnamese language has been and continues spreading across the five continents. This effort breaks all language barriers and provides motivation for second- and third-generation overseas Vietnamese to preserve and promote their mother tongue and maintain the nation’s cultural identity.

On November 30, in Tokyo, the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan, in coordination with the Vietnamese Ministry of Home Affairs, organized “Vietnam Labor Day in Japan 2025”, honoring the contributions of the Vietnamese labor community, while affirming its quality and increasingly prominent position in the Japanese labor market.

The 11th Congress of the Union of Vietnamese Students and Youth in France (UEVF) for the 2025-2027 term took place on 22 November in Paris. The Congress reaffirmed its commitment to promoting the role of uniting young people and serving as a bridge for knowledge, science - technology, and high-quality human resources dedicated to the homeland.
