Speaking at the reception, Deputy Director of the Naval Academy Nguyen Dinh Giang expressed his hope that young Vietnamese expatriates would serve as ambassadors, promoting Vietnam’s culture, country, and people in general, and the image of “Uncle Ho’s soldiers - the naval soldiers” in the new era in particular, to friends around the world.

He also encouraged the students to redouble their efforts in studying and promoting national values, while enhancing their sense of responsibility in safeguarding the sovereignty of Vietnam’s seas and islands. At the same time, he emphasized the importance of strengthening the bond between overseas Vietnamese and their homeland.
